Today we're excited to share some brand-new information!
Starting in future seasons, Seasonal Banlists will be introduced. Here's a quick summary of the key points:
1. Cards placed on the Seasonal Banlist cannot be used for the duration of that season and will automatically become legal again at the start of the next main booster set season. (Alter sets are not considered main booster sets.)
2. The same card will not appear on the Seasonal Banlist for two consecutive seasons.
3. Newly released cards cannot be added to the Seasonal Banlist during their first three main booster set seasons after release.
4. The contents of the Seasonal Banlist may change each season. The number of banned cards may increase, decrease, or remain the same.
5. The official team reserves the right to add cards to the Seasonal Banlist during an ongoing season if necessary. Any cards added in this way will also be automatically removed from the banlist at the start of the next main booster set season.
